How to Assemble a Push Bike 

Here is a practical video that will allow you to assemble, step by step, your new Push Bike.

For assembly, you will need the following tools:

  • 4mm hex key
  • 5mm hex key
  • Phillips #2

Before you begin, prepare your work area and arrange your tools so that you don't risk injury. It takes about 20 minutes to assemble this bike. 

  1. Remove the protective wrapping from the bike.
  2. Install the stem on the fork steerer tube. Align the stem. 
  3. Tighten the screw (5mm hex key). 
  4. Tighten the two side screws (4mm hex wrench). Tightening torque : 5Nm. 
  5. Put the front wheel into the fork. Pay attention to the rotational direction (written on the tire side). 
  6. Tighten the two axle screws (5mm hex key). Tightening torque : 14Nm. 
  7. Insert the seatpost. Align the saddle. Tighten and close the seat collar lever. 
  8. Valid that all the screws are well tightened. 
  9. Make sure the breaks are working well and the tires are properly inflated.
  10. Install the front and rear reflectors (4mm hex wrench).
  11. Make sure the saddle is at the correct height. The child must touch the ground on tiptoe when he is sitting on the saddle.
  12. Decorate the bikes as you like with the stickers in the box.

You are ready to ride!  Don’t forget your helmet! 

How To Assemble a 12-14-16 Inch Kids Bike

Here's a handy video that will allow you to assemble, step by step, your new 12, 14 or 16 inch bike. 
 
You will need the following tools for assembly: 

  • 4mm hex key
  • 5mm hex key
  • 15mm flat key open-end key or 6mm hex key
  • Phillips #2

Before you begin, prepare your work area and lay out your tools in a way that won't hurt you. It will take about 40 minutes to assemble this bike.  

  1. Remove the protective wrapping from bike. 
  2. Install the stem on the fork steerer tube. Align the stem.
  3. Tighten the screw (4mm hex key) .
  4. Tighten the side screw (4mm hex wrench). Tightening torque: 10Nm.
  5. Put the front wheel in the fork. Pay attention to the rotational direction (written on the tire side).
  6. Tighten the quick release lever or the two axle screws (5mm hex key). Tightening torque: 14Nm.
  7. Set up the front brake.
  8. Insert the seatpost. Align the saddle. Tighten and close the seat collar lever.You have a shorter seatpost provided in case.
  9. Mount and tighten the pedals (15mm flat key open-end wrench or 6mm hex key).
  10. Pay attention to the pedal identification (R : right side / L : left side).
  11. Install the front and rear reflectors (4mm hex wrench).
  12. Valid that all the screws are well tightened.
  13. Make sure the brakes are working well.
  14. Make sure the tires are properly inflated.
  15. Make sure the saddle is at the correct height. The child must touch the ground on tiptoe when he is sitting on the saddle. 
  16. Decorate the bike as you like with the stickers in the box.
