Roomier fit that provides a casual look and good range of movement.
DescriptionFor riders who have a need to ride as long and as much as possible, no matter the weather, the Commit WP Jacket is without a doubt a must-have piece. With its waterproof and breathable fabrics, sealed seams and water-repellent zip with inner flap, it’s designed to keep you dry, inside and out. Stretchable fabric and articulated elbows keep you moving freely, while a silicone gripper at the back hem and adjustable hook and loop fastener wrists ensure the jacket doesn’t ride up as you ride away. And since you can’t always predict when the next shower’s going to hit, the packable pocket with flip-over puller functions as a bag in which you can store the jacket, allowing you to carry it in your jersey pocket or saddle bag.
3 Customer Review(s)Wonderful both in the rain and as a windbreaker. Great breathability! I would buy this jacket again after it proved itself doing some serious riding with it in the rain and in the cold dry with a fast pace line.
Two minor design quibbles. Why not a vented side panel or zip for even better flow through of air? and Why not a double zipper so the bottom can be vented?
Otherwise an outstanding piece of kit.
Quality Price ValueI was really excited to try it out on a cold rainy day but have been very desapointed when my 100$ waterproof gloves became soaked by water due to bad design of the wirst on this jacket. The whole jacket is waterproof except that part. How they could have miss this?
Also if you ride with a back pack, the zipper slider on the jacket is so big that you feel pain on the bottom of your back because of the pressure applied on it. An other bad designed feature.
Quality Price ValueWhere I live and ride it rains a lot...like all fall, winter, spring, and it's not uncommon to get rain in the Summer.
Having a lightweight jacket that is waterproof but doesn't turn into a sauna suit once my heart rate and body temp goes up is important...especially during warmer times of the year when I need waterproof protection without adding much warmth. This jacket nails it. It fits well and has nice adjustable cuffs and stretchy elbow sections. The big back zip pocket is nice to have and keeps stuff inside dry. I load it up most of the time. My medium size fits a little bigger, but I'm used to more race cut clothing. I'm actually glad it has a little extra room though as it's a bit more breathable that way, and I can wear warmer layers underneath during cold months. Great jacket for going the distance. I wear it on the road and also mountain biking and it's always washed up well after a muddy ride. Might even make a good running jacket too!
