8 Customer Review(s)Comfy right out of the box, super stiff and hard wearing. I'm super impressed with LG shoes, they really are the most underrated shoe brand out there. Previously I was wearing Shimano shoes but these are so much better in every aspect. I have ridden these for racing, mtb, cyclocross, gravel and commuting so pretty much six days a week for the last year that I have had them and they still look great.
The only negative I can find is that you need to get the sizing right. I'm usually a 44 and I measured my feet at 44 using LG's guide and so ordered a 44. On the bike they feel fine but walking around before and after riding they feel way too small. Weirdly when I first got them they didn't feel too bad but over the last year I have had them they seem to be getting tighter and tighter, I don't feel any other change in any of my other shoes, so size wisely.
Quality Price ValueMan! These are the best cleats I have ever owned. All power goes to the petals, but still easy to walk in. Fit like a glove while still comfortable throughout long rides. Specialized s-works are priced higher than these and aren't as comfortable as these and hurt my feet bad. I promise you, this is the best shoe out there! Not one single flaw!
I also have their riding bag. Which also is awesome. Great and very reliable country. Love it!
Quality Price ValueI have tried may different brands. I am really sold on BOA but found them unreliable in certain configurations (Five-Ten Kestral, Scott). I liked them , Specialized Rime, but that is equally Velcro. The dual BOA opens up easily when putting on and off shoes. I have also had issues with certain shoes tread interfering with cleats when exiting. I ride in AZ and with steep climbs, rocks and busy trails, quick cleat exit is critical. These are a very open cleat box.
Overall they are stiff, light and comfortable. Well designed. Quality materials and manufacturing. Good looking.
Quality Price ValueMy first time using another brand after 20 years and I love them, extremely comfortable and reliable. Worked flawlessly this cyclocross season but please make them in another colour!
Response from GARNEAU:
Thanks for the comments! For 2017, we'll have the shoes available in yellow fluo for a great pop of color!
Quality Price ValueI use these shoes for both mountain biking and road biking, since they're much more comfortable to walk in than road shoes and not as heavy as many other mtb shoes. I haven't tried them in a cyclocross race yet, but I plan on racing in them this season. They feel a bit narrow, so I ordered a size up, which is more comfortable, but when I run in them up a steep surface I feel my heel come out a little, so they are probably best for people with a narrower foot. The boa closure system is a great way to keep them snug, but having them too tight will cause numbness! Quality Price ValueI've tried a ton of different shoes for my various racing, training, and all around riding adventures, and I can say that these are just as good as any other shoe on the market, and that the fit is spot on. Even during the dreaded "flat tire, run to support" scenario, these didn't disappoint as I made my way down a rocky gulch for some help!
I would strongly recommend these to anyone looking for a durable, comfortable, high performance shoe, and, with the little wear they've shown, I am expecting these to last a long time.
Quality Price ValueThese MTB shoes rock! As an endurance MTB racer, I need comfort with the right amount of stiffness to keep me riding comfortably all day. The T-Flex 2LS MTB shoes offer the comfort and fit so I can perform my best. They are really light with a rugged sole which is awesome for traction for any run-ups or hike-a-bikes. The dual boa allows for a quick snug fit that is easily adjustable. The extra lugs that come with the shoes give me the option to hit up some gnar and mud and will be great for cross season! Quality Price ValueI have been racing/riding for the past two years on the T-Flex 2LS MTB shoe and have never looked back! I wear them for all three types of riding (Mountain, CX, and Road) and I am always blown away on how comfortable they are! I am currently on my second pair, and both times I have been able to ride/race with them right out of the box. Quality Price Value
