A proof of purchase must be provided upon presenting your claim. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement by an identical or equivalent product, at the discretion of Louis Garneau Sports Inc.

  graphics degradation, rips, degradation by UV radiation, pilling, stitches, and

• Damages caused by abrasion
  against self-gripping surfaces, straps, zippers, shoulder bags or backpacks.
• Damages and failure resulting from abuse,
  negligence, damages caused by chlorine or salt, bad maintenance,
  transformation, modification, accident and/or inappropriate use
• Damages resulting from the impact of a fall.

For any claim of warranty, Louis Garneau Sports Inc. reserves the right, at its entire discretion, to repair or replace any parts or components covered under this warranty by a new identical or comparable part but cannot guarantee the continuous availability of some product colors or parts. Parts or components replaced or repaired under the terms of this limited warranty will be covered for the rest of the period remaining from the initial warranty period.

The original buyer is responsible for all maintenance fees. Transportation costs for the return of parts to Louis Garneau Sports Inc. are the responsibility of the original buyer. Transportation costs for the return of replacement parts to the retailer will be borne by Louis Garneau Sports Inc.

All our products are made according to high standards. The warranty covers frames, rivets, buckles, straps and pivots. However, it is possible that our products present signs of normal wear despite handling them with great care. This warranty does not cover normal wear of your product. These are examples of common normal usage: color degradation, abrasion, scratches, scrapes, material degradation caused by UV radiation or use, corrosion, etc. This warranty does not cover products that have been modified, neglected, or used inadequately, abusive use, demonstration or rented products and commercial use. At all times and under all circumstances the application of the warranty is at the sole discretion of Louis Garneau Sports Inc.

If the warranty applies and the product can be repaired, we will repair or replace any of the parts affected by a material or manufacturing defect at our own costs. If your snowshoes get damaged following an accident or if you are no longer covered by this warranty, Louis Garneau Sports Inc. can sell you the parts (if available) to rectify the issue. If the parts are available but cannot be replaced easily, we will offer to repair them at a reasonable cost.

• The warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear of the product deriving from its use (scratches, paint and graphics deterioration, tears, degradation by UV radiation);
  
• Damages and failure resulting from abuse, negligence, bad maintenance, transformation, modification, accident and/or inappropriate use;
  

The manufacturer cannot be liable for physical and other damages caused directly or indirectly by using a helmet. No other express or implied warranty is binding. This warranty is exclusive and is made in lieu of all other warranty, insurance or responsibility permitted by law or otherwise. Any dispute related to this and/or any action against the manufacturer will be brought to the tribunal of the place of business of the manufacturer where the parties elect domicile and the laws applied will those of the Province of Québec (Canada). Louis Garneau Sports Inc. cannot be liable for any secondary or indirect damage whatsoever. Some countries, states or provinces do not permit the exclusion or limitation of secondary or indirect damage, nor limitation on the implied duration of the warranty. This means limitations or exclusions might not be applicable to all of them.

Residential use:
Five (5) years on frames
Two (2) years on parts
One (1) year on electronics
One (1) year on labor
One (1) year on wearing parts *

Commercial use:
One (1) year on frames
Six (6) months on parts
Six (6) months on electronics

Six (6) months on wearing parts *

* Wearing parts are parts that need to be replaced following normal use. They vary for each product model and include: pedals, seatposts, handlebar and foam, chains, pulleys, straps, bottom bracket kit, crankset kit, brake pads and bearings.

This warranty doesn’t cover normal wear, inadequate assembly or maintenance, failures resulting from the installation of incompatible parts or accessories, damages caused by corrosion, the symptomatic strain of a frame resulting from normal use, or damages caused by cleaning products and additives. This warranty will be deemed void if the damages result from an accident, abuse, negligence, a modification or transformation made to the product, abnormal, excessive or incorrect use, or commercial purposes or rental. This warranty will be deemed void if the bicycle is used outside or in a manner for which it was originally not intended. This warranty does not cover transportation costs incurred by the client to return a product under warranty to an authorized retailer. The user must also follow the care instructions provided by par Louis Garneau Sports Inc. for the warranty to be honored. The warranty is deemed void if the product was not assembled according to the instructions manual provided with the product, in which case a mention would appear on the purchasing receipt.


Louis Garneau Sports Inc. reserves the right to repair or replace any part or frame covered under warranty by a new identical or comparable part but cannot guarantee the ongoing availability of certain colors or types of components.

Transportation costs that are incurred for the return of parts to Louis Garneau Sports Inc. are the responsibility of the original buyer. Transportation costs for the return of replacement parts to the retailer will be borne par Louis Garneau Sports Inc.

Louis Garneau Sports Inc. cannot be held responsible for any damage, failure or loss that can occur following repair and/or replacement of a part that was not done according to the prescribed instructions by any person other than an employee or authorized agents of Louis Garneau Sports Inc. The warranty on exercise bicycles applies in Canada only.
